Part of this committee are the Sabbatical Officers, a team of students who have taken a break from their studies or recently graduated who are elected yearly by the student body to lead the union as a whole. UWIC provides education and training opportunities that are accessible, flexible and of the highest quality, and has been independently acclaimed for its high academic standards and for its high level of student satisfaction. UWIC specialises in courses that are career orientated and which have been designed in conjunction with business and industry.
