The Executive Committee are the elected representative of the whole student body who work to make sure that your views are represented. Part of this committee are the Sabbatical Officers, a team of students who have taken a break from their studies or recently graduated who are elected yearly by the student body to lead the union as a whole. UWIC provides education and training opportunities that are accessible, flexible and of the highest quality, and has been independently acclaimed for its high academic standards and for its high level of student satisfaction. UWIC specialises in courses that are career orientated and which have been designed in conjunction with business and industry. UWIC Students Union aims to provide confidential and non judgemental support, representation and advice for all students registered at the University of Wales, Institute Cardiff.
