Welcome to Victoria Hall, a purpose built
modern complex situated within a few
minutes’ walk of Universities and Colleges.
Students really will get the most out of
their academic lifestyle, as the hall’s
close proximity to lecturing venues make
early morning starts a thing of the past!
All Victoria Hall accommodation is
comfortably furnished and is fully equipped
with everything you need.
The friendly and relaxed atmosphere of the
hall makes it the perfect place for single
residents to meet new people. If you book at
the same time, existing groups of friends
can also choose to share a flat together. If
the 5-minute stroll to lectures is a bit
more than you can face, you can always get
on your bike! Victoria Hall offers a secure
bicycle storage facility for your peace of
mind.
Our on-site laundrette will be a real
learning experience! A large number of
competitively priced washing machines and
sensor dryers can be located here for
resident’s use.

Your Security
Victoria Hall takes student safety extremely
seriously. A team of caretakers are present
24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the
year, ensuring that there is always a
Victoria Hall representative available
on-site to lend assistance if required.
Door
entry and intercom systems restrict access
to the complex, with security fencing and CCTV surveillance giving further protection.
Victoria Hall maintains an exemplary
standard of security, ensuring the safest
possible environment for our residents.

Your Communications
There is a communal direct-dial telephone
situated in the hallway of each flat for
resident’s own use. We will allocate an
individual account number and PIN for you to
keep track of your calls, and parents or
friends can leave messages on your (free of
charge) personalised voice-mail.
Our on-duty staff can be contacted 24 hours
a day from this phone to report any repairs
or concerns. This is completely free of
charge, as is calling friends in other
Victoria Hall flats – perfect for arranging
impromptu get-togethers!
Guests arriving on-site can alert you to
their presence using the intercom system
provided.

Your
Bedroom
Whilst at university your room really will
become your sanctuary - to study, relax,
hangout with friends, or just to catch up on
sleep! Besides your bedding, all you need to
bring is yourself, your books and anything
that will make the space more personal to
you.
We provide a fully fitted wardrobe for your
clothes and belongings, a large desk area
complete with bookshelves, a pin-board and
plenty of electrical sockets for all your
essential appliances. There is also a full
length mirror in every bedroom for you to
prepare for those all important nights out.

Kitchen
All
Victoria Hall flats contain a fully equipped
contemporary kitchen-during this exciting time, the
last thing you want to worry about is pots and pans!
Every kitchen contains a fridge freezer, oven and
hob, kettle, microwave, toaster, cutlery, crockery
and cooking utensils. The only thing we don’t
provide is the pizza! |

Your
Lounge
Upon
arrival, you can relax with your new flatmates in
the comfortable lounge and dining area.
Here you’ll
be delighted to find that a colour television,
complete with Sky satellite channels, is provided
for your entertainment.
Each room has an
individually controlled heating system that students
can adjust to suit.
